Hattrick of wins at the Scratch Stars Awards 2022

On Sunday 24 July 2022, 300 guests attended The Scratch Stars Party at top London nightspot, The Steel Yard, to celebrate nail technicians, teams and salons from across the UK. The night, which was hosted by BBC Radio 1’s Scott Mills alongside Scratch’s managing editor, Helena Biggs, saw winners crowned across 18 categories. Tinchy Stryder entertained the crowd with a 30-minute set of his most-loved hits while a magician wowed partygoers.

Beauty at the Bay fought off outstanding competition in the judging process, where the business was subject to a mystery shop and judges scrutinised this, social media, testimonials and more. The level of skill shown by the record-number of entries this year was unprecedented, making it a real challenge for the judging panel to narrow the list down to just 18 category winners. 

Along with taking home the sought-after gold trophy, Beauty at the Bay enters the Hall of Fame following its three wins, and will receive a special glass trophy at next year’s event, with its owner invited to judge.
