Relax & Let Us Take Care Of You

Dermalogica Pro Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a treatment that uses a specialized blade to remove dead skin cells and fine vellus hair. It is considered a physical form of exfoliation to leave the skin soft, smooth and bright.

During our Pro Dermaplaning treatment we deep cleanse the skin followed by Dermaplaning to exfoliate. The treatment combines customized mechanical and chemical exfoliation techniques – utilizing chemical resurfacing and professional serums to precisely target your concerns. Followed by an ice globe massage and nourishing face mask, this treatment instantly reveals glowing, smoother skin and helps reduce the appearance of  hyperpigmented dead skin cells.

The treatment doesn’t require any downtime for recovery, making it convenient. The treatment is suitable for most skin types and a number of skin conditions.

Including:

  • acne scars
  • dull skin
  • dry skin
  • sun-damaged skin
  • fine wrinkles

Still Have Some Questions?

We recommend that you use an oil such as a small amount of precleanse with dermaplaning. The nourishing oils help the blade glide more easily over the skin, along with reducing irritation and creating a more comfortable treatment.
Dermaplaning is most often performed every 4 weeks. You’ll achieve the best results with a series of 3-6 treatments.
Yes, almost all skins can benefit from dermaplaning however we avoid performing dermaplaning on active acne/ breakouts. Clients with melanin-rich skin tones should pre-treat their skin 2 weeks prior with brightening products to reduce risk of PIH.
No. Dermaplaning can not physically alter the type of hair grown. The fine vellus hair will grow back slowly, usually in about 4 weeks. We do not dermaplane over terminal hair.
Dermaplaning can be combined with various exfoliants such as AHA/BHA’s. Chemical peels can also be applied if the skin can tolerate this level of resurfacing and the professional has been properly trained.
